November brought some much needed nice weather. October was so rainy, I hope you were able to get a few more rounds in. The Pro Shop/Motel Office is officially closed, but if anyone needs to get in the cart shed please just give us a ring or email and we can make arrangements for you to do so. We will still always answer the phones everyday. If someone isn't right there please leave a message and we will call you back as soon as possible. Again, for those of you who store your carts with us, they need to be insured by your own private carrier. Please check the website through out the winter for any updates. When we get closer to Spring we will post our opening date. For those of you who don't have access to the Internet, please don't hesitate to call. Again, I am emailing the newsletter. For those of you who don't have an email address I will send you a hard copy. If you would still like a hard copy just give us a ring and I will be happy to stick one in the mail.

2010 Improvements: There will be a new tee box on Number 2 on the Red Nine. The tee box they built on Number 11 on the white will be ready also. We will also be planting numerous trees throughout the course.
NEW…NEW…and Not so New……..We will still offer a Pool Membership to our members. Please inquire at the Pro Shop this spring. We would also like to continue to offer a 10% discount on any banquets booked for 2010. There would be a minimum of 30 people required to receive the discount. Members' Birthdays will continue to be honored with a FREE cocktail and ½ price lunch or dinner. Corporate Members would be restricted to 4 designated people. You will have to use this offer within 30 days of your birthday. Script money will also have an expiration of October 31, 2010.
EARLY BIRD SPECIALS for paid memberships will be brought back by popular demand. Purchase your membership, pay for it in full by December 31st and pay 2009 prices, plus receive 8, 9-hole guest passes, a value of $150.
Our Reciprocal Program will coninure to have 11 courses this year. I would like to add one more for 2010. Any suggestions please let me know. You will be issued a card with your membership, which will allow you to play the courses at least 2 and as much as 4 times. You will be required to rent a cart or pay their Reciprocal Program fee.
Sunday afternoons is reserved for Couples League. They meet twice a month. Anyone with questions or interested in joining should contact either Theresa in the Pro Shop via phone or email or Gerry and Chris Gross via email at gross4144@litewire.net. Thanks to Gerry and Chris for running this league.
There are openings in both Women's Leagues on Thursday. The morning league plays at 9:00 a.m. and the evening league tees off anywhere between 4 and 5:30 p.m. Anyone interested please call the Pro Shop for more information at 608.884.8484 ext 6. I would like to thank Chris Gross for running the Thursday morning league and Thanks to Jean Sime for running the evening league last year. This year Rami Hoaglin and Melissa Reese will be running the Women's Evening League.
Our Senior Men's League is looking for a new chairman to run the league. They play 9 holes on Wednesday mornings. Anyone interested should please contact Theresa at 608.884.8484 ext 6. There will be an organizational meeting in the spring The date will be posted later. I would like to Thank Norm Sime for running this league last season.
Tuesday and Wednesday night Men's league start at 4:00 p.m. Anyone interested in joining those leagues please contact the Pro Shop. We will have a new league Chairman this year. We welcome Larry Donaldson to this position. We would also like to thank Jim Leikness for all his years of service.
Gift certificates are available for Christmas giving. Receive 9 holes of midweek golf FREE with the purchase of a $25 gift certificate and 18 holes FREE with the purchase of a $50 or more gift certificate. All certificates must be purchased before December 24th.
Restaurant News: We are now on our winter hours. We will be open Friday and Saturday, serving lunch and dinner from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sundays we will serve brunch from 9:00 to 2:00 p.m.
The WSGA Associate Memberships will be offered again this year. There will be a cost increase to $25.00. Just let us know in the Pro Shop if you would like to take advantage of that service.
We would still like to have a Members Garden outside the Pro Shop. We got a start on it this year, but would like to expand in 2010. Anyone that would like to help or has plants to share just let us know.
