The dining room at Coachman's Golf Resort prides itself on serving gourmet specialties in an English country inn setting. Even with a nationally acclaimed wine list, you won't find a single vintage that overshadows our chef, 
Timothy Cairns.  Born in Southeastern Wisconsin on Geneva Lake, a truly wonderful place to enjoy the outdoors. 
Tim Started his hospitality career at the age of 13 washing dishes at Charley O's restaurant in Willams Bay, WI.  He was awarded an Associate Degree in applied science at Madison Area Technical College.  He has worked in many fine resorts in the Lake Geneva area where he met his former wife Kathy.  Tim and Kathy raised 2 girls and a boy while both of them worked in kitchens. 

Tim's first chef job was at the Tee Pee Supper Club in Tomah, WI.  His next culinary adventure was to join Ramada hotels where he worked at Lake Lawn Lodge in Delavan, Ramada Hotel in East Hartfod, CT, Ramada Hotel in Reading, England, Tyson's Corners in Maryland, and finally ending up at the O'Hare Tower in Chicagoland. His next career was to join Service Plaster Management service as the Chef Manager of 6 hospitals in the midwest. 

Tim's Children are grown and he now has 3 grandchildren,  2 girls and a boy with way too much energy.  Tim is currently living in Cambridge on a 5 acre hobby farm, where he is developing an all natural produce farm.  Tim has always been passionate about cooking and the great outdoors.  Food is a celebration! A gathering of friends, family, food and fun.  Tim's culinary influences have been from all area's of hospitality.  The most important piece of equipment in the kitchen is a tasting spoon, and the best tastng meals come from quality ingredients, skillfully prepared and presented with joy!

Prices are quite reasonable and the food is prepared with the finest quality, and the freshest ingredients. In the beginning, you may have come for the golf, but you'll stay for the food!
